"The hotel is really lovely. Better than the photos. Our room was fine everything you could need. The grounds are beautiful. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was ok. It was very busy at 8.30 and our table was not big enough for plates and tea pots and cups. The lift does need attention its only two floors and the wait was so long that we used the stairs with dodgy knees! would recommend this hotel."

"It is a huge 'Victorian pile' - refurbished lately - it is central, about 5 mins from Betty's tea shop. Breakfast is ok. Other menu a bit ordinary. Staff are good. Didn't try the spa - but it is there if you want it. So, overall OK. Would stay there again."
