"We had a wonderful greeting from Alina when we arrived too early for check in, who kept our luggage safe, made us a delicious cappuccino and said they would give us a key to come and go the following day as we had a late flight home. Check out was at 10am and after a lovely breakfast and equally lovely service from Simona, we went out for the day, popping back now and then to use the bathroom and relax on the pretty little terrace. We were not rushed to leave and Simona offered us fruit to take...

"The property was quite hard to find and in a quiet dark street which as a solo female traveller, felt a little uncomfortable. Once inside though, the room was fine for my needs if a little basic and the lady at breakfast was lovely "

"Located walking distance from many city attractions. Three blocks away from central bus station for intercity travel. Some rooms have a view of Etna. Host was very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area looks a bit dinghy but that should not put you off."

"Clean, easy check-in, great for 1 or 2 nights on a budget. can get a bit loud as it's full of young people. Especially the rooms facing the narrow courtyard where the sound carries from other rooms. "

"A great property in very easy reach of Mt Etna, Taormina, Catania (40 mins from each), and Milazzo. There is also a lovely beach just 10mins away. The neighbourhood is a bit a non-descript, but it is a lovely property, quiet, with a lovely "temporary" pool which is a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. Francesco the host was great throughout the stay. Highly recommended as a base for visits around Etna."
