"The room was very nice, friendly staff and the breakfast was wonderful. Location is excellent too. Our only complaint is the smell of the fish garbage from the adjoining restaurant that wafts into the hotel lobby. It’s not the hotel’s responsibility but they need to work out a solution with the restaurant owner or the hotel is likely to lose customers. "

"Perfect place to stay to explore La Rochelle. In the heart of the old town and surrounded by restaurants, cafes and shops. A small supermarket is located nearly next door. Walking distance from the train station - less tha. 5 minute flat walk. Friendly staff, clean room with large comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Excellent breakfast available which we had both mornings. Only downside is there was no kettle in the room to be able to make a hot drink."

As a consequence of the cooker not working I had to pay for six of us to eat put all the time! And the food I bought from the supermarket to cook went off !! My daughter is visually impaired and fell down the steps because the lights were not working!! I contacted the manager on 10 different occasions and she did not get back to me .
