"Family Selection is very family oriented for kids all ages. The dedicated pool in that area awsome! The entire resort is huge! I don't believe we saw it all during our stay. The room was very clean, tub, shower in the bathroom was great selection for your liking. We had a room with the pool which my daughter loved. The turn down service big plus. Staff is super friendly and helpful, whatever you ask they deliver. Food was good, it didn't WOW me but also didn't disappoint. Breakfast at La Hacienda the buffet was the best. Specialty restaurants were good. Pools are great the swim up bars awsome."

"My family and I ( husband and three grandkids) had a wonderful stay at Barcelo Maya and it surpassed all our expectations! We stayed in the Tropical area and all facilities were easy to access to by pathways or by shuttle. Pools are beautiful and each one has its own all inclusive bar. The kids area is right in the middle by the pools so it easy to watch your kids from the pools. The beach is right behind the pools and has plenty of palm trees if you want shade while sitting or lying on the lounge chairs. The all inclusive buffet was just marvelous! Plenty of options for everyone, spacious dinning rooms and attentive servers! There are many amenities for the whole family to be entretenied during the day and night. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and kept clean daily. Beautiful gardens with some lizzards that is fun to spot on while walking with the kids. We would love to come back definetly!!"

"Great food, excellent amenities, and an exceptionally clean resort. Every inch of the property is impeccably maintained, making for a very enjoyable stay. My only complaint is the transportation between the resorts. Getting to and from the other properties from the Palace is extremely difficult and not very convenient. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend it."

"The resort was much larger than expected. The butlers for our villa (67), Maggie and Julio were wonderful. They were kind and understanding. Although I feel that they should have had another butler during their busiest times. The check in was smooth, Uziel, was great and we enjoyed all his recommendations. Due to the size of the resort, they have carts to take you to places around the place. I would recommend to take that into account when planning for things. You might need to wait an extra 15 minutes to get a cart. Overall, my sister and I had a blast at this resort. Rudy from the travel club team was amazing. Last tip, BRING MOSQUITO REPELLENT!"
