"This was the perfect bed and breakfast. We stayed in cabin 2, beach front and loved everything about it. It was always clean, every worker was extremely friendly and helpful. the food was fantastic (we are such picky eaters and they always accommodated our requests).

"My stay at the Reef House was exactly what I wanted. It has the old Roatan charm to an old dive shop that has the most welcoming staff I have ever met. From the owner Davey to Keith the IT/Bartender and the friendliest cook staff that makes great down home cooking. David the dive master has been out on the reef longer than most have known about Roatan. He knows some really cool places to see."

"This place was absolutely amazing; from the time we arrived until the day we left 7 days later was incredible. Our Concierge Carolina was there every step of the way, from booking reservations to keeping us informed on Island wide power outages. Bring Oil Based Bug Spray, the Sand Flies will eat you alive. Should be expected you are on a tropical island in the Carribean. The Pool was cleaned at least every other day if not every day. The house was way better than the pictures, they do not do it justice. All the rooms have split units, you need to turn off when you leave the house, but don't worry they work great in cooling everything back down upon your return. If I could give 10 stars i would. Dive Shop is right there, Amanda, Sam, Eric and Carlos great dive experience. Best money I have ever spent on a vacation home."

"This is a great property located center island, so you are able to access everything on both the west end and eastern end of Roatan. The house is built at canopy level, so you feel like you're living in a tree-house, with a view of palm trees and the ocean, and virtually no other houses or neighbors in sight. The pool is one of the best private pools on the island. We had a fantastic trip!"

"If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and slow your pace, this place is perfect. The dive shop was incredible, brewery and the cove were perfect close by options and we also had a local named Henry pick us up on the boat and take us down the beach to his restaurant. Our kids loved the pool and we loved our slow mornings on the porch with coffee watching all the lizards and hummingbirds. The only downfall is the noseeums be prepared with bug sprays and ointments! Don’t be afraid to venture out too, we found the island people to be so friendly and kind. "

"Palmetto Bay is a wonderful place to stay! I loved the beautiful grounds of the resort in addition to the beach and dock. The restaurant and bar were very good and the staff was wonderful, especially Jan! Roatan is a special place amd Palmetto Bay was a great home base to explore it!"

"The beach is not a swimming beach. Sea grass is all over.Did not see one person swim there. Dishes were dirty in cupboard. Hair in drains. I think management company is to blame. The house was second to none."
