Before arriving we were in contact with the staff to confirm arrival time via WhatsApp. We ended up being quicker through the airport than we expected, but it was easy to send a quick text in the taxi to let them know we would be slightly earlier, which was no problem. We were welcomed on arrival and given great recommendations for walking routes and places to eat.
The room was absolutely spotless, huge, bright and airy. The room was cleaned daily, to pristine condition every time. Air conditioning was easy to use, quiet at night, and worked well.
The street outside is busy all day from morning to late evening but the windows are totally soundproofed so we were never disturbed, even on nights where we went to sleep early for a 6am start the next morning.
The location is perfect for exploring Vatican City, and Corso Vittorio Emanuele II allows for walking directly elsewhere in the city. There is a Carrefour Express shop a few doors down, and as many coffee shops convenience shops as you could need within the immediate vicinity.
We had a fabulous stay, and we will certainly be back.
