PENTHOUSE with PRIVATE PANORAMIC ROOF TERRACE, Old Historical centre, Trastevere

This Penthouse apartment ("angelishouse" - unit A) is provided with a large private PANORAMIC ROOF TERRACE.
The panoramic Terrace allows guest to enjoy maglificent views of Rome' rooftops. This property is located quite in the Heart of Old Historical centre.
The lower level consists of the living/dining room with a sofa bed and kitchen area, the 1st bedroom and the 1st bathroom.
The upper level consists of the 2nd bedroom ("master"), the 2nd bathroom and accesses to the large Panoramic terrace with a wonderful view of Rome.
Even though Trastevere is a very live/busy area (mostly at night when both natives and tourists like to walk in the narrows "vicoli" characteristic of this area), the street where the property is located is one of the most quiet of the area.
Then, to improve confort (and save evergy) all the windows are also "double glasses" provided.
This property is situated at the 3rd floor (no elevator).

The terrace is also equipped with "Lanai/Veranda", table/chairs up to 6 people, gas BBQ, led "ambient" lights, reclinable arm chair, lots of plants, flowers and seasonal organic spices.

Very high quality furnishings complete the interior design:

ABOUT US: we are a family that rent our own apartment.
As a starter', before the arrival, I will send a list of suggestions for local restaurants, markets, wine bars, ice cream shops and more :)

I (or an other member of my family) will personally met and help on your arrival day.

TOURIST CITY TAX (!): it costs Euro 6.00 euro per person, per night for any guests aged over 10 years old. This cost is not included in the cost (“Total rental amount”) of your stay. This municipally tax is calculated only for the first 10 nights of your stay. This tax will be paid (only by cash) upon check in.

Great Location with a beautiful penthouse

We loved the location of this property in a great district. The penthouse garden was beautiful and where we spent a lot of our time just enjoying the views and peacefulness. He was very helpful on giving us advice about where to eat and what to do before we arrived and when we arrived.

Fantastic Flat

Great location with charming neighborhood character. Owner was very helpful and friendly. The sofa bed was roomy and comfortable for a tall adult (me). Roof-top terrace was fantastic. We want to stay there again and again.

Great place to stay in Rome

Comfortable flat in a brilliant location. Great area to use as a base for exploring Rome, with lively restaurants and cafes nearby. The roof terrace is stunning and not to be missed! The owner Alessio could not do enough for us, providing us with good local advice, was kind and prompt with all our queries. Overall a very lucky find, cannot recommend it or the owner high enough. Will certainly stay again!

Loved the location!

I can’t say enough great things about this property and Alessio! The apartment itself was close enough to all the sites that we walked everywhere, and Trastevere is amazing and felt very safe. We were also off the main areas that it wasn’t noisy. The terrace was such a great perk! Alessio was a great communicator and very helpful! Definitely recommend!

What a quaint flat in Trastavere! The neighborhood was welcoming and the flat had everything they we needed- plus an amazing rooftop terrace that provided stunning views of the area. The owner was oh so kind and attentive and helped us with all of our needs. He even walked us around the neighborhood a bit to get us oriented and show us some stores and tasty eateries.

Great location and apartment

The apartment is located in the trendy neighborhood of Trastevere. There are a ton of great restaurants nearby and is not too far from the big Rome sights like the colosseum and the Trevi fountain. You do have to walk up a few flights of stairs to get to the apartment but it’s well worth it for the rooftop terrace. Alessio was a great host and welcomed us in person during check in. Great experience!

A nice stay in Rome Trastevere

We had a very pleasant stay here.Very good location in a quiet area but still near enough to visit of all the sites of Rome. Even walking distance if you enjoy to stroll around the city. Alessio is a wonderful host, ready to help in any way. The appartement is not big, but more than enough for a family or 2 couples. The terrace is great, with a nice view. Everything was clean, new and the beds are very confortable. We had very mild weather when we stayed, so even in Winter we were able to use the outdoor area which was such a bonus in Rome.

EXCELLENT PROPERTY!!

My husband and I recently stayed here with another couple and it was absolutely amazing. Alessio is a wonderful host! He was very prompt in communicating and meeting us at the property. Once we got there, he gave us a tour and provided great recommendations and local advice. He also helped arrange a taxi to bring us to the airport the day we left. The experience could not have been better and the view from the terrace was exceptional. Also, this area is so perfect and cozy with many amazing local restaurants, it was a dream! I highly recommend staying at Alessio’s beautiful property!

Trastevere terrace

We had the most wonderful stay in Roma! The apartment is well located in a lovely neighborhood in Trastevere. We were able to walk most everywhere and there is a taxi stand close by. The two most outstanding features of the property are the rooftop terrace (amazing setting to sit anytime of day or evening) and the host Alessio. He really made our trip fantastic from meeting us for an earlier check in to giving us a personal tour of the neighborhood. He also provided a list of restaurants and shops, all great. We can’t thank him enough!

Nice apartment with a spectacular terrace

We really enjoyed our stay here for our 7th wedding anniversary. The apartment looked the same as in the photos, including the terrace. It was spectacularly clean. The owner stocks it well with many thoughtful items like a tray specifically for carrying wine bottles up the stairs to the terrace, umbrellas, maps, snd reading books. The air conditioner worked, and so did the washer and American style dryer. Note that there's no elevator in the building and it's on the 4th floor, with another level in the apartment and yet another to the terrace, so you have to be in good shape to get up there. The owner also provided a list of recommendations for groceries, restaurants, and wine & cheese shops. We tried several places and they were all delicious. If we can come back to Rome, we'll stay here again!

Trastevere Amore

Alessio’s surname sums up his personage - an Angel - super host indeed. He relayed an abundant amount of information pre-trip, and many helpful recommendations on the ground. He was direct in his communications and always responded promptly especially when a fellow traveler had a health issue. The small Penthouse apartment, has been smartly restored and is nestled in a gentrifying neighborhood with much culture and color. While not apartment dwellers accustomed to close quarters, we adapted well thanks to the semi-private well-appointed rooftop terrace. Countless hours were spent revisiting daily adventures with drinks on the roof late into the evening. Lest I not forget, shortly after our Penthouse stay began, we were serenaded on the terrace by a neighboring rooftop pianist and his lovely soprano. Bravo on all counts - Thank you, Alessio.

Roman Dream

A stay at Alessio's is a Roman dream. We were greeted by Alessio, who is very kind and welcoming. We got the full tour, and info on the area, and were shown how to run the AC. The home is just as charming as the photos show and the rooftop terrace was perfection. Be ready for stairs, but it's so worth it. On our first night, we sat on the terrace, watching the swallows, sipping prosecco, and listening to the genius concert pianist neighbor play as we watched the light change over the rooftops. It was surreal. There are lovely little shops and restaurants everywhere. This side of the Trastevere is like a quiet painting. The little bar on the corner is perfect for a quick cappuccino without the tourist price. Apparently, a pretty popular restaurant, Da Enzo, is around the corner. We had our best meal in Italy there, but be ready for a wait. This apartment had everything we needed and more. Alessio is a perfect host and will make sure you enjoy your stay.

Relaxing stay in Trastevere

The apartment was a relaxing oasis in a great location. It was easy to take the bus or tram to sites in Rome or walk enjoy a walk along the River. Alessio was a great host. He oriented us to the neighborhood and helped us feel comfortable.

My family had great stay at Alessio's apartment. He was an excellent host. Place was neat & clean and met every need. Cold A/C in each bedroom was a must during the heatwave Rome had when we were there. We would stay there again without question.

Cozy and quite in great neighborhood

Alessio is the most organized host we have met. He provided tons of information for us ranging from Taxi advice to restaurant recommendations. The apartment had everything we needed, including a Moka pot for coffee which I discovered makes excellent coffee out (I just bought one it was so good). The best part was the location…Trastevere was very fun to come home to, with so many restaurants, cafes, live music along the river, beautiful churches and architecture. The apartment requires some stair climbing, but Alessio carried my wife’s suitcase. He also set us up with toiletries etc which lasted our whole stay. Another host on our trip did not provide anything, so this was appreciated. Overall a great stay, and I recommend this for any visit.
