"The location was great close to the cathedral. Only one complaint. As you know Europe does not typically use wash clothes so I brought my own. Arriving in the room I was happy to see there actually were wash clothes in the bathroom. Yet after the first room service the wash clothes were removed, including my own, and never replenished. I asked at the front desk but this was never adjusted or explained. So my learning experience is if you bring your own wash cloth make sure it is not white so it is not removed by room staff. Otherwise enjoyed our stay."

"Clean, comfortable room. A slightly noisy air conditioner but we were happy to have it act as white noise as the hotel was (unexpectedly) smack bang in the middle of Koln Pride festival! Having said that, the hotel had good sound proofing so we managed to sleep - even with a kid! Good breakfast, nice shower. The pool was tiny so couldn’t use it to exercise unfortunately. We had a pleasant stay."

"Initial con - there seems to be a lack of staff. Waited 20-30 mins to check in as there were no staff to check in, just the bartender. Then another day there was no bartender for about 20mins, just the receptionist. The room was spacious and quite clean, all amenities were helpful and appreciated. Bed was nice and comfy. We did come during a heatwave and thought the aircon could be cooler, but in normal weather I’m sure it’s good enough. I would return! Definitely nicer than the premier inns in the U.K."
