Happily for me, my time in Javier coincided with the running of the bulls in Pamplona so I was unable to find a hotel in town. I found the Parador because it was close enough to Javier. I predict that the Parador will earn the kind of reputation which will make it a "go to" hotel in Spain and internationally. It boasts of a courteous and efficient staff, lovely clean rooms, a gorgeous setting, and excellent food. The hotel is so good that I recommend more employees learn to speak English...

A charming small hotel on the French / Spanish border. The couple who run the hotel are as accommodating as can be, and really a very nice experience. We were hiking in the Selva di Irati park, and this was one of the closest hotels. We were very happy with our choice. Would highly recommend!

Clean room

Room #10 was clean and good for one night. A bit small for longer stay. Adding a bottle of water could be a plus. Restaurant was amazing with unforgetable food. Great chef!!

The location is perfect. The hotel is everything we had hoped for. The staff was great as was the breakfast. Parking was easy with help from the hotel staff.

It was super clean and a great change from the other european hotels we stayed it. The staff was probably the best hotel staff I have ever had! Very nice, exremely helpfull and knowledgable about the area. Will def be back

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Pamplona. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring the city. The hotel was very clean, and the facilities were modern and beautiful. There is also a nice café on site with a good variety of food and drink options. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pamplona.

Great and not. This is really up hill on an árbol, without power, dry toilet facility with an exceptional welcoming from Hotess Alicia, she’ll cook for you if requested totally recommend. It was hard to go up hill with a carryon but my meal “Cordero” with integral rice it was amazing, spending the night there was a lifetime experience. Bruno and Chantal were consummate hosts. I loved my room with its view of the garden, a decor accented with vintage radios and alarm clocks, a spacious modern bathroom and adjacent WC. A practical command of French is helpful, as the coversations surrounding breakfast, cocktail ( choice of aperitif, beer and wine) and dinner (not included, but highly recommended as Chantal is an excellent cook. We had a wonderful stay and the service really stood out. From the moment we arrived, Fernando greeted us with a warm smile and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He made us feel genuinely welcome and took care of everything with care and attention. Amazing!!

Had everything we needed for a stay while we prepared to start our Camino!

Old historic home, run by a charming old lady. It belonged to Pierre Laclède, founder of Saint Louis (Missouri). It has remained in the family ever since. Excellent (continental) breakfast included in the very low price. The village of Bedous is charming and there are at least three quite decent restaurants.

The location is excellent right in the central square, the staff at the front desk is always kind and friendly, very supportive. Probably the best staff I have experienced ever. The rooms are large by European standards, the bathroom is quite large, the bed and linens are good not luxury but very good, the breakfast was included in our rate and it was quite good, we were allowed a late checkout and that was pretty good and helpful.
