"Freshly decorated, clean property with parking right in the centre of Hexham. Well located for all of the local facilities but not at all noisy due to newly installed glazing.Comfortable beds with quality bedding and nice fluffy towels. A perfect home from home for us whilst attending a wedding at nearby Hexham house. Wasnā€™t overly impressed with the non-refundable truvi charge of 10 to verify my details as a longstanding Vrbo user but didnā€™t impact on our stay which was excellent."

"The Granary at Carr Edge was a lovely place; I hope we can visit again. It's in a beautiful spot with gorgeous views on both sides. It looks remote on the map, but access to Hexham, Hadrian's Wall and various forts and museums was easy. It's picturesque, a stone-built farm house and outbuildings, so like my grandparents' that I visited as a child. Everything was perfect down to the signage. There's an interesting historic remnant of a Gin-Gang (look it up!). Our hostess, Sandy, was charming...
