"The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. A wide range of tasty breakfast options was available and the evening meals in the White Tails restaurant were delicious. Our room was comfortable, well equipped and very clean. On the downside, the stairs were rather steep and corridors poorly lit. For tall visitors, many of the beams were hazardous; I have the scars to prove it!"

"The Richmond was quiet and restful, which was what we were looking for. The room was large and airy, comfortably furnished with plenty of storage space. Breakfast was perfectly cooked with plenty of choice. The owners were friendly and helpful, keen that we enjoy our stay. We would be very happy to stay there again. We were sad that this lovely couple, working hard and doing a great job, have had to take abuse from unreasonable people who expect the service of a 5* hotel from B & B...
