"Let's be clear, this place is all about the fantastic view of the ocean. The motel is nice, clean and convenient to the main road and nearby Yachats town. The staff was very friendly at check-in and they have a gift shop that includes some food items. The room was nice, but pretty basic. Our room looked straight at the ocean and there was a small balcony to sit on, which we did in the evening and morning. They are not private--each room is right next to each other. I got to meet my neighbors and their lively dog. There is a nice path along the upper shore (it's kind of rocky), so expect to see a lot of walkers and dogs. It goes about a half mile in either direction, with great views of the shoreline."

"This home is truly beautiful and relaxing. The view of the lake is unbeatable and the private dock allows for direct access to the water. The kitchen is fully stocked with equipment so that we could cook all our favorites while watching the incredible wildlife. The bedrooms are cozy and comfy and the living room has wonderful windows to view the steam rising off the lake in the morning. 5 stars for the property!! The directions on the portal were very clear and helpful as google maps has trouble locating the house. Also don’t forget to read about the latched gate as it will give you a scare if you don’t know about the clasp. Our only issue was communication. We arrived and the key to the bottom floor was missing. Despite numerous calls to various people (and multiple transfers) we never got access to the bottom floor. No one even called us back to tell us that they couldn’t make it out. This meant that one of us had to sleep on the couch for the whole trip. This felt like poor management. But overall we had a lovely time and would absolutely come back again!"

"This property is a real gem! Everything you would want in a beach stay. The floorplan and space is well designed; kitchen, living room and dining area are all very comfortable. The partial ocean view is visible throughout the space, including while sitting at the dining room table. The beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms clean and functional. The location is great--just a few blocks walk to the beach and a short drive to downtown. We loved it and would return!"
