Highly recommended Kong Arthur hotel

Loved staying in such a historic and colorful harbor area. Easy walking to Hop On bus stop, canal boat tours, restaurants and walking to a street food area. A little busy due to its location to attractions, but overall the hotel is in a very enjoyable area. For those who expect A/C in their room, the Hotel does not have it, but the room had an electric fan and the weather was cool at night, so I was very comfortable.

This will be a strange review in that I didn't leave the room for the entire stay. I didn't eat in the restaurant, and I didn't explore the area, although the area looked to be amazing. I came down with food poisoning and double pneumonia while in Berlin ( on my way to Copenhagen.) The staff could not have been kinder. When, on a Sunday, when I inquired about a clinic, they saw to it that a doctor came to the hotel. That alone makes this hotel stand out in my mind.

We liked the location, amazing breakfast, lobby, facilities yet to improve 1) restaurant for lunch / dinner as super limited options and not much to choose from 2) don’t charge for early check in, they charge extra if you want even come an hour before

on a trip to Denmark with family, including two younger children. This hotel made a great places stay in Roskilde. Close to all major attractions, quiet, and clean, easy parking. Decent breakfast in the morning too! The mattresses in the beds were a bit uncomfortable but not a deal breaker. Cute play area for the kids in the lobby. Would stay again.

Room and shared bathroom were nice and clean, helpful signs around the property. Shops, restaurants, cinema, and train station were all about or under 5 minutes walk away.

Very neat and clean. The property management responded quickly to any needs or concerns. This was a perfect choice for all my trip plans. I would definitely stay here again!

Great overall experience. Location was nice, central to Copenhagen and many southern vacation activities to do and see. We stayed 2 days there so as not to pay the higher prices in the big city and it was an easy liesurely drive to the airport the next day. However, the flight was an international flight at 1500 the next day so you might want something closer for earlier flights. We got spoiled in Sweden having stayed where the breakfast is free. I stayed for my birthday and the entire staff made me feel very special. Rooms were very clean and they even provided umbrellas in the room in case it rained. Drinks at the bar were also fantastic.

I will gladly return to the hotel. I had the best experience all around. Social dinning was fun and the breakfast food was amazing. Recommended!

Really nice property staff was really friendly and helpful! The gym was great! If you have big luggage’s just be prepared to walk on not the most even ground from the train.

The hotel is great. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. I was given an upgrade to a large room which I appreciated. The staff are very friendly. The hotel is on an island and rather secluded, especially at night. The famed Freetown Christiania is barely ten minutes away and there are many coffee shops nearby.
