Warm modern retreat nestled by Rotorua’s Redwoods with cozy retro charm

Relax in the comfort of this retreat by the Redwoods that has been designed with a modern retro theme. This is the ultimate location with the Redwoods, home to world class mountain biking and walking tracks within meters of the door. Lake Okareka, Tikitapu and the picturesque Lake Tarawera are a further short drive up Tarawera Road.

The apartment has two bedrooms, a modern bathroom and kitchenette with tea and coffee facilities and a bench top cook top, bench oven and microwave. You will have your own bike cleaning station and bike cover with chain and lock (up to 5 bikes). It is ideal for couples or families who are looking to either relax or engage in the region’s activities and experience the delights of this tourism hot spot. All linen included.

The Good Eastern Tap-house, French bakery, cafe, gym along with the Redwoods center are just 500 meters away, The drive to Rotorua central is within minutes. There is off-street parking, a small courtyard, BBQ and bike wash-down zone.

Lynmore is a popular and family friendly neighborhood with the apartment situated on a tree-lined street with the dairy and bus stop within meters. The apartment is a closed off extension to the main house and is private.

Mt biking haven

Fantastic property, perfectly positioned with easy access to the Mt Bike park. Friendly hosts. Even tho the apartment it attached to the hosts house, it was very quite and private. Perfect place for our Mt Biking long weekend! Easy walk to the shops.

brilliant accommodation right next to all the action!! 5 min walk to a great pub and 10mins from the door to sitting on the mountain bike shuttle at the Te Putake O Tawa car park!

Surprisingly wonderful

We had a wonderful time- close to the adventures galore within the Redwoods, geothermal activity and also Blue Lake. Also not far from the CBD. The accommodation was well thought out and catered for all our needs with the added, but important, bonus of super comfy beds and linen. The hosts were warm and welcoming but private too! We were surprised at how much better the property was in reality compared to online… which was a fabulous surprise! Would recommend to anyone and definitely stay again! Thanks!

Comforts of a home and close to everything!

Loved our stay here! We enjoyed having the comforts of a home during our travels. The unit is attached to the host’s house, but is very private with your own entry. Even so, the host Anu is lovely, so no worries at all. All of the Rotorua attractions are within a 10 minutes drive and the Redwoods and some restaurants are in walking distance. Cozy spot in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for a couples or family getaway :)

Lovely house

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. We were a little shocked at the advertised dryer being a clothes line. However it did not impede our stay. House was lovely overall and we would come back.
