Back yard Inn stay

n reference to the amount that was paid for the accommodation the rooms were ok, the budget rooms contain two beds and an table and chair, there is heating but no cooling. You can open the window but there is not much of a breeze and no fans in the room. The rooms get quite warm, the female communal showers had no locks on the door. the pillows were low quality and there were no extra pillows available in the room and no towels were provided in the room, and it does not mention on the website that for these room s you will be required to provide your own towel. I will think twice before booking this place again if I was travelling through Rotorua.

Bra, billigt och centralt!

Bra hotell med ett bra läge i Rotorua! Poolen är fräsch. Finns även biljard och pingisbord, stort fint kök man kan låna. Det dåliga med hotellet är att det är väldigt lyhört och finns inte så många uttag i rummet så en powerbank kan vara bra att ha med sig.

Nice Stay in Rotorua

Had a nice, comfortable stay at The Backyard Inn. It was convenient to the attractions in Rotorua as long as you have a rental car. Also, the geothermal pool was a cool feature!

We had the ensuite room and it was great! Very comfy bed and everything was clean. There’s a hot pool and a cafe/bar. In the room there’s not a microwave or small fridge, everything is in the big communal kitchen. Parking was a problem for us as all the spaces were taken.

Bed sheets weren’t clean and had cockroaches crawling on me when I was laying on the bed reading. This along with what sounded like a boiler on the roof of the room didn’t make for a good night.
