"Ideal location in the centre of Saumur close to shops and restaurants, just under the Saumur castle. The hosts provide a breakfast option which is a nice addition. The appartment is well-furnished and comfortable."

"Location, location, location! Very old part of the city and some areas around are not in good shape! The apartment does not have internet but is otherwise well equipped. The view of the Loire out the front windows is lovely. Nice to watch the boats go by. If elderly with lots of luggage, this apartment is not for you! Very old narrow winding staircase to the apartment on the top floor! The proprietor is lovely and very helpful!!!"

Piscine idéale pour se détendre et se rafraîchir : transat, parasol ou repos au frais sous les arbres.. tout est possible. Le studio est agréablement décoré et bien équipé pour un court séjour. "The apartment was perfect for us. Perfect size, perfect location. Outside storage for our bikes and the perfect cycling location in France. David was a perfect host, sorted out any issue we had (a minor one involving a problem with the washing machine) and couldn't have been a better host. It is a middle floor apartment which means there are stairs to reach it and there are people in the apartment above who keep their own hours. we love...

Unfortunately, when we went to bed we could only turn aircon down to 21C and it was a hot night. Reported it in the morning and they were going to have a look and rectify problem!"

"Very friendly staff and room very clean. Lovely setting with each room having its own terrace. Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it. However good restaurants nearby and good room service meant this did not detract too much."

"The reception was outstanding. We arrived early and were made to feel most welcome. The room is large, modern and lovely. Everything is first class, bedding, towels , etc. Breakfast was great and plenty of options. The hotel is a pleasant short walk from the old town centre. Parking is very limited but not an issue. There always seems to be free street parking right outside the hotel. A lovely stay all round."

"Everything was wonderful. I stayed there 5 days and tried everything, le petit déjeuner delicious, le dîner incredible ! Only thing I didn’t know is that I had to pay extra to enjoy the jacuzzi (why isn’t it included ?). I needed it to warm up bc coming from Miami, the drop in temperature was brutal :). But it’s ok I still loved it ! Thank you !"
