"Our stay here was very quick as we arrived so late due to planes being late. Mercure waited for us to check in! They were so helpful. In the morning we came down to an amazing breakfast! It was the best of our whole trip. The cheeses presented were delightful and not ordinary! The pastries were crisp and so fresh! I loved the scrambled eggs. They tasted so much better than in the USA. Everything was great, the staff was amazing! "

"Charming hotel in the heart of Rouen. Minutes away by walking from the cathedral, the river Seine, shops and restaurants. My room spacious, clean, and included a balcony with amazing views of the Seine river and the cathedral. Breakfast was delicious and highly recommended so you can maximize the crowd free early morning exploration. Staff was very empathetic to my tardiness in checking in due to missing a connecting train from Paris and stayed late to check me in. Very much appreciated and I am definitely looking forward to staying at The Originals hotel again in the future. "

"Property was nice and quiet. Staff was kind and helpful. However, the body wash dispenser in the shower was empty and the water drain would clog, leading to water getting out of the shower and into the rest of the bathroom. Toilet could have been cleaner and fresher. Aside from that, everything else was fine."
