"The frig front was dirty, the tub had hair in it, the windows and sills in the main bedroom were dirty, the tub and the bathroom sink did not drain properly, shower curtain rod kept falling, and someone was smoking on the patio above us. Overall property is a bit run down (stairs are definitely a slip risk!). Also, would help if there were directions for all the remotes...I did love the main bedroom bed and pillows, the decor is absolutely adorable, the large TV's were great, and the proximity...

"Staff is very friendly, and informative. All areas are clean and comfortable. Breakfast very good when we had the time to eat in. Did not have the opportunity to try the pool because we were constantly up and moving early morning to late evening. Very hospitable place. "

"Pros: The room was clean with a nice layout. The front entrance contained a pull out sofa, table chairs, TV and kitchen station. A door separated the main bedroom (which had 2 beds). Clean bathroom with a proper working shower. Shower gel (Evelyn & Crabtree-Gardeners line) smelled so good that I plan on ordering for myself. Ice machines available. Breakfast was good when you’re able to get it. Decent variety of items and beverages. Cons: airport prices if you use the store. $5 for a bottle of Coke. Breakfast is promoted as ending at 10:30am. However, the shutdown process appeared to start about 10:00am. After my meal, I went back for a banana and most of the fruit had been removed (that’s when I noticed the staff removing items). To me, that’s not fair to people who may plan to get to breakfast at 10:15 only to find limited selection. I did not get an omelette because the line was long (but that was my choice). I was told they were good so you may have to wait. I must add that, if you ask for something, they may oblige as in my case. I mentioned the banana situation and was politely asked how many do I want? I did not use the bar, but there is a spacious outdoor sitting area where I saw cocktails brought to folks in my group. A large Jenga set and the 2 fire pits were a nice attraction."

Drury Inn & Suites Charlotte Northlake

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Drury Inn & Suites in Charlotte at the Northlake property. We received a warm greeting from the friendly staff at the check in desk. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The free dinner buffet had a large selection of good food, and we were given a ticket for 2 free alcoholic beverages. The staff in the dining area were also friendly and so accommodating. The next morning there was a free breakfast buffet with a great selection of food. We didn’t use the spa or pool areas, so I can’t comment on those. We also didn’t go out to explore the surrounding area, so again can’t comment on that. The parking lot was free parking, was well lit at night, and they had security patrolling. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked our room again to stay overnight on our way home, too. Charlotte was a halfway point for us on our trip. I highly recommend this property, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here in the future."
