"Wow, this is a must stay when we come back. Great hosts and stay! This is a great little cabin on the creek. Tranquil and relaxing. Fire pit, wildlife, and tons of stars. Highly recommend staying here with one caveat. The staircase to the second floor bedroom and laundry is quite steep and the stairs are narrow. If you have mobility problems then I would not recommend staying here. Other than the stairs this is a fantastic place. The hosts were very friendly and communicative."

Spacious retreat on the Rim of the Royal Gorge

"1st time we've booked this cabin was 14 yrs ago. We've stayed multiple times and had invited friends and family through the years. Grand View of Gorge all around. Always clean all throughout. We always enjoy walking to the Rim Trail and taking sunset pictures. If you are planning to visit Royal Gorge, stay a day or two or more in this cabin, your trip will be 10x memorable. They offer free tickets to the bridge the day of check in until the day of checkout so it is really a great deal esp if you're planning to do all the activities around the area."

"Sunshine was a wonderful host answering all our questions by text quickly and very accommodating. This place is in the most beautiful spot, 360 degree views, peaceful and serene. We reserved the repurposed barn which had 3 bedrooms and one large well equipped bathroom. The common space is large with a pool table and full size pac man game the kids loved! The dog friendly part was wonderful as we were able to bring our two pups. The space tidy and well appointed but was rather dusty (not surprising for the fact that this used to be a barn!). The price was very affordable and we will likely return but next time with an awareness of the limited kitchen supplies. The description told us there was not a full kitchen but we were still surprised by no kitchen sink, next to no dishes (including only one coffee mug) and older, somewhat dirty appliances. We were grateful for full a size refrigerator and a working gas grill and made the best of our “glamping” experience."

"Thoguht it was a fine place to stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the beds had nice firm mattresses. I liked the old posters showing the movies that had been filmed in Canon City and the plaques on the doors showing which Stars had stayed in the rooms. The breakfast could be improved. The biscuits and bagels were still frozen when I got to them. But, breakfast at a place like this is always hit or miss."
