"This is a lovely, recently-renovated hotel in the middle of downtown Kingston. Near lots of restaurants. Rooms have a fridge and coffee maker, which is nice. Our room had a balcony and great view of City Hall and the water. There is parking, for a fee, in the building, and also Sunday and overnight street parking, and local pay-parking lots nearby."

"the English style decor and the reading room/lounge, bedroom. Only issue is that this place is not for someone who has stair climbing issues or elderly as all room access is 2-3 floors. No buffet breakfast (which is great) because the daily planned options were amazing, just what a healthy good breakfast should be to start the day. Our stay was made comfortable by Cyrus who checked us in, explained everything and also was available for any other things. And Kaitlin for making our breakfasts enjoyable and pleasant. Thank you. We will definitely be going there again in future!"

"Arrived and was greeted by some kind ladies. Went up to my room and it was clean but the bottom of the dresser/ tables/ cabinets etc were all chipped and peeling- kind of unsightly. Went to the pool and there were swimming lessons happening so couldnt really use it. There were naked kids in the hot tub so really didnt feel I could use that. One of the reasons I booked here was for these things. Breakfast was good, however, there was a woman loudly changing tables complaining about the smell of the furniture ( they didnt smell) and talking to herself. She then started complaining about people from Pakistan and calling them racists. Finally, she started in on British Pakistanis and called them r@pists. There were families etc and it was very uncomfortable. When i spoke to the staff, they apologized and said she had been here before behaving this way and they wouldn't and couldn't do anything. I didn't finish my breakfast before leaving because that was very uncomfortable."

"Room appeared clean but needed updating, wallpaper was coming off the walls. There was a musty smell in the lobby. Staff were friendly and helpful, boxed breakfast provided was quite nice. Nice people, good location, but rooms required work, I was disappointed because it looked much nicer in the pics. "
