"Hotel Lis was a nice central hotel in Lisbon, close to lots of attractions, shopping, many restaraunts. We walked everywhere we wanted to go except of course Belem, we took an Uber there and took the bus back, it was so easy! "

"The reception area was hard to find at first but the staff was amazing and helped us with all of our needs. The rooms are not huge but well appointed for our 3 night stay. The breakfast was good. We would stay here again."

The location is perfect, close to everything, and the breakfast had a great variety and was delicious. The Elevador restaurant was also excellent, with great food and service. I loved my stay, have already recommended it, and will definitely be back. One of my best travel experiences."

"We really enjoyed this property. The room was very clean and we appreciated the decor. The room was quiet and the beds very comfortable. The hotel had a small seating area at the top of the building which was a nice place to hang out and enjoy a cup of tea. "

"Avoid this hotel. My wife's costume jewelry was stolen from our room while we were out sightseeing. (Feb. 2026) We put our valuables like passports, credit cards and more in the room safe. But we did not think a maid or anyone else would open a small pouch left next to the bed filled with a few pairs of inexpensive earrings. They were made of gold-looking material and perhaps someone thought they were valuable. Even though these items can be replaced, it felt like a violation of our personal effects. My wife called the management twice and both managers were cold, extremely unpleasant and completely unsympathetic about the issue. We were not asking for anything. We just wanted them to know what happened so they improve their hotel service and reputation. They were not kind about it at all. I do not recommend this stay. Avoid this hotel."

"Truly a 10/10 experience. Great staff, hotel is so cute. Had a little dishwasher and kitchen set up if needed. Area was perfect. 100% coming back and upset I didn’t stay here the whole time. Speak easy, Mediterranean restaurant, and great Portuguese food. You’ll be sad if you skip this spot. "
