"We were the first ones for breakfast one morning and saw many flies sitting on the fruits at the counter. We brought this to the attention of the staff. The hotel location is the best, easily accessible and well maintained. However the rooms are poorly designed and extremely inconvenient. 1. The bathroom sink area has no room except for sink. Even a toothpaste cannot be kept. Everything needs to be kept outside the bathroom. 2. The lighting in bathroom Is extremely dim and useless for using the mirror. Putting in my contact lenses was difficult. There is NO mirror outside the bathroom. 3. The lights in the room are dim and spread all over. Very difficult to find switches. 4. The area upon entering the room around coffee maker and storage has NO light. A dim light comes on only when you take out the keys to leave the room. In total, extremely disappointed with the inconvenience caused. Even a basic hotel has better amenities and one would expect better for paying such high prices. We will definitely avoid this. "

"The room is clean and nice. Ours is on the fourth floor facing the santa justa elevator...very nice. The hotel is located at a convenient place with easy access to Rossio and Baixa-Chiado metro stations as well as Rossio train station. There are so many nice restaurants and shops in the vicinity. Re. facilities, there was no kettle in the room so we asked for one so that we could make tea ourselves. There were 4 coffee pods provided for the entire stay as they were not replenished after consumption. The same applied to the bottle water. The hotel could well be more generated on these fronts. Members of staff at the reception were polite and helpful. Shame that the lobby of the hotel is so small. Did not have breakfast in the hotel and so could not comment on this."
