"Lovely hotel. Easy walking distance to shops, bars, Praca do Comercio etc. Rooms immaculately clean, gorgeous products and the comfiest bed ever. Bathrobes and slippers, mini fridge restocked daily. Staff brilliant, friendly and professional, very smart. Breafast had everything we needed. Would absolutely return next time in Lisbon. "

"This hotel was incredibly beautiful from the moment we walked in to the courtyard. It is huge and can feel a bit of a maze to walk around until you get your bearings. We were situated in Block D - there was a mini exhibition for us to look at on our way to our room. We stayed in a Locke Room which came with a lovely little patio. Furnishings in the room were beautiful and the colours in the bathroom were so nice too. Beds were super comfy and made for a great nights sleep. It would have been nice to have a bottle of water or 2 in the room for arrival especially when arriving late at night and not being able to get to a shop. You can pay for water at reception but it was a bit inconvenient to head back over for that. However, I would happily stay here again and will recommend it to friends because of it's location. We just wish we could have stayed longer as didn't get to use the pool or restaurants which looked amazing!"

"The service was five stars. They are welcome and friendly every step of the way! Location is central and very good. The property didn’t feel 5 stars at all. The carpets really need to be replaced and upgrades in the lobby. If you want luxe, don’t stay here. If you want really great location, service and I’d also mention comfortable bed, stay here. "

"It is a nice conveniently located budget restaurant with good breakfast. Warning: it is located on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor of the building without a lift so only use if you don't mind the climb. Good supportive reception and right opposite Rossio station so easy to commute or walk to all attractions."

"What an amazing location for a visit to Lisbon! Right in the heart of the Baixa district of Lisbon, the Esqina Urban Lodge is the perfect place for tourists to experience Lisbon. The hotel is one block off the amazing Rua Augusta, the festive, touristy street in the middle of Baixa. It's a short walk from the river and the Praca do Comercio. It's also in easy walking distance from the Rossio train station. Our room (35) was a typical small European hotel room. It was on the third floor on the corner, so we had two windows with decent views. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The AC worked great. As others have mentioned, the elevator starts on floor 1, so you have to climb one flight of stairs from the entry on floor 0. The area around the hotel is clean and safe. There is a combination to get into the building, then another to get into your room. The front desk is manned from 8:30 am til 10:00 pm by very friendly staff. The only thing that would have been nice that we didn't have is a refrigerator, but that was clear at booking, so no complaints. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Lisbon."
