"I usually don’t complain but this experience was bad. We came after midnight with a reservation (was late bc of traffic) I go to open the door to check in and it’s locked! I had to call where thankfully someone answered and I let him know we were there, didn’t say a word just hung up then came to the door and let us in. Was not hospitable and just short in tone. Got to our room which I will say the room was not bad itself. We had been traveling and wanted a drink, go to vending and ALL drinks were out, so then I’m like let’s just get ice…Ice machine did not work! I wish I was done but I’m not…went to get a hot shower in the am and the water would NOT get hot, not even warm. I did have a whole bagel and apple for breakfast so there’s that 😮‍💨 all in all they say you get what you pay for but I thought an unlocked door and warm water was an understanding."

"Was very nice. Wasn't there long, but breakfast was nice, bed was comfortable, room clean, and staff was very accommodating."

"The house is not as nice or as clean as the pictures show. The house isn’t in the best area however we did not have any problems. The gate for the parking area was broken, with nails and other items that could have caused damage to tires. The paint is peeling and chipping, and kitchen sink is leaking water in the floor. The hot water last about 15mins which doesn’t work well for a house that sleeps so many people. The worst part of the trip was the door lock. I got two codes in different emails, neither worked and I had to call customer support. Then the next day the lock wouldn’t work at all, again had to call customers support who had to call someone else to open the door. So the rest of the time we had to leave someone there so we didn’t get locked out. "

"This house is just the cutest! Easy location for access to downtown Birmingham. We were downtown each day in about 10 minutes. There’s some houses around that were loud and some barking dogs so just be aware if you need quite to sleep. Great lake behind the property for fishing and feeding ducks. We had a great time overall and would definitely come back. It had everything we needed. "

"Our stat was okay but the musty smell was one of the biggest issues. There were a few deck boards were broken, the lawn wasnt cut, and the shower faucet was leaking behind wall. I did report to the host and she responded quickly to address. The neighborhood was a little sketch, but no issues. "
