Top Train Watching Platform Hotel Reviews

Hampton Inn & Suites Birmingham East Irondale

10/10 Excellent

"I travel to Birmingham annually for Barber Vintage Festival. This hotel is by far the best I’ve stayed at in the area. The property is nice, it’s up on a hill and away from noise. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff is wonderful! Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially Cassandra. We enjoyed the breakfast and liked the large seating area since it was busy. I would highly recommend staying here."

The Hearth & Thistle - King Bed/TownHome with Deck

8/10 Good

"Had a very nice stay here when we were in town for a wedding. The property is tucked back away from major roads, in a nice quiet area. The beds were comfortable and we slept great! The Jack-and-Jill bathroom between the bedrooms was plenty spacious for the four of us to share and the half bath on the first floor came in handy. Great communication and responsiveness from the host."

The Juke Joint: Game Room, Pet-Friendly BHM Home!

10/10 Excellent

"This home was perfect for our short stay in the area. Bedding was comfortable, the house was clean and the location was great. We are an Interstate Moving Company and we came in with a 30' cargo trailer. Parking was adequate and the home made our layover very relaxing. I highly recommend this home and will keep it on our list to revisit."

PET FRIENDLY!!!

10/10 Excellent

"Very clean house, and very communicative host! Perfect for what we needed."

Hoadley Home- Family/Games/Driveway/Wifi/Crestline

10/10 Excellent

"We chose to stay at the Hoadley house since our daughter lives in the same neighborhood. The house was perfect! It was cozy, provided everything we needed for our stay and allowed us to enjoy walks with our daughter without having to drive over. We will definitely be back!"

Modern Stretch Home - 3BR/Bathtub/New Build/Grill

8/10 Good

"The property itself is beautiful, featuring a spacious layout, a large backyard, and an excellent location in a quiet, convenient neighborhood. While the management team was highly responsive once contacted, the initial preparation of the home fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, we were met with a severe odor from an unemptied, maggot-infested trash bin in the driveway, which took several days to be removed. Inside, we encountered notable cleanliness issues, including stained towels, two living room chairs that required sheets to sit on, and ants on the kitchen counters and utensils. Additionally, the living room TV remote was missing, preventing us from using the television for the first few days. For a week-long stay with five guests, the amenities provided were entirely insufficient, consisting of only three kitchen trash bags and two partial rolls of toilet paper. Although management eventually corrected these issues, these fundamental sanitation and maintenance checks should have been handled prior to our check-in."

Marvin`s Gardens: Fenced Yard, Game Room, Pets!

10/10 Excellent

"We chose this property for its location - with easy access to interstates, it was only a 15 minute drive whether we were going downtown, to Leeds or to Mountain Brook. Upon arrival, we found the property was very clean and the beds were super-comfortable."

Maple & Marigold – Modern Comfort + WiFi

10/10 Excellent

"Nice cozy place for a good price."

Magic City Manor: Groups/Driveway/Game Room/Wifi

10/10 Excellent

"We had an outstanding stay! The communication from the host was the best we’ve ever experienced—friendly, responsive, and helpful from start to finish. The pictures honestly don’t do this property justice. The home is much larger and more impressive in person, with plenty of room for our entire group. We traveled with our wrestling club for an out-of-state tournament, and the layout was perfect for accommodating everyone comfortably. The location was another huge plus. It’s situated on a quiet dead-end street, which made it feel very private and safe. There is also a park right next door where the kids could play and burn off energy between events.Everything about our stay exceeded expectations, and we will absolutely be booking this property again in the future. Highly recommended!"
