"The hotel was great! Clean, close to the main areas but still far enough that it was nice and calm at night. There is only one thing that wasn't great, the noise of the water from the floor above me. I could hear the pipes when even ever the top floor was using the bathroom. Maybe some sound proofing for the bathroom. Otherwise I loved the hotel."

"Excellent hotel and really good value for what you get. Rooms were a good size and had lots of amenities. So that was the good. Now for areas of improvement. Instant coffee is fine for lesser hotels, but not for this caliber of hotel. It’s a given that drinks at a hotel bar are more expensive, but they were still pricey even by nice hotel standards. Obviously not a lot of serious concerns and the issues we did have had easy workarounds. Definitely would recommend staying here!"

"Lovely quirky place, and very convenient for our stay. Clean and tidy. The only problem we had was that the fridge (described as a mini bar, which it wasn’t at all!) didn’t work and we were unable to keep any drinks or food in our room cool. "Kind of run down. Door to the hotel is broken so you have to enter through the hotel next door. The lock on the door to my room was broken and it was a huge dramatic issue to get my room switched partially due to language barrier but mostly due to being gaslighted about the lock being broken even after being walked in on while taking a bath. "Needs a bit of an upgrade. I don’t know if the 5 star rating is legit. The breakfast was the best part of the stay. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable, the lobby was the nicest looking part of the hotel. Location is about a 40 min walk to the grand palace if you move at a clip. "
