"I have been organizing guys poker club trips to the Carribean the weekend before the Super Bowl for 4 years running. Villa Del Mar stands tall as the best and here's why. First the beach and water are AMAZING and steps from the backyard. The property has plenty of shaded areas in the outdoor spaces. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with mostly all ensuite bathrooms. The private pool is huge with a swim up bar and this place actually has a heated jacuzzi tub, which can be hard to find. Rebecca gets back to you right away when you have questions or need guidance. She runs the operation like a true professional. The chefs and bartentender we hired for the trip were terrific too. 5 Stars across the board. "

"Sublime looking and breath taking is the location. I have been here numerous times and my family and I are always impress with everything. The beach is breath taking, crystal clear water and white sand. Numerous water activities available. I highly recommend this place. "

"Security is on site and makes parking easier if you show your room key. The food and drinks are amazing. The decor is beachy and property is well lit and very clean. Staff members are friendly and accommodating. There is a walkway along the beach to access other hotels and their restaurants. The bar and restaurant area can be noisy during the afternoon and evening hours due to their popularity with the locals and patrons of other hotels. The AC unit in the room seems to only truly cool the room down at night to a tolerable degree. "

"We were a group of 14. We think this is a very good option in their price range. I would recommend having more control over the dogs laying around the property. They were all friendly, but for some people this could be unappealing. "

"The propert is very close to the beach, was very clean (one of the few dominican ones where the taps didn't have limescale), great air con, very nice garden and pool. The kitchen has all the utensils you will ever need. A minor downside is that the blinds don't close so you have no privacy when you are in kitchen/living area. P. S: when I was there, the season was low so the property's bar did not have ingredients for cocktails or did they serve food. "
