"Beautiful setting and perfect location, right in the heart of La Rochelle but still quiet at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to the chamber maid who kindly knocked on our door and offered us new towels, tea bags etc, great service thankyou."

"Great location, short walk to Old Port. Helpful staff , didnt eat there so not sue about the food. My wife recommended the massage in the spa, siad it was very relaxing."

"Great location within a short walk to the train station. Very kind and helpful staff. Only thing that I wasn’t expecting was that there is no air conditioning, and the room was very hot and the fan in the room was noisy. Other than that, the room was comfortable."

"Incredible location and beautiful view. Worth upgrading to the port view rooms. Lovely comfy bed and good space given where it is. Quiet too despite a bustling city and bars below. Great friendly staff. Couldn’t comment on breakfast as we just went to a local bakery. No parking there - recommend “Maubec” or “encan” as short walk away."

"The hotel is in an historic building with a beautiful garden, located near a square with parking and many cafes. It’s a short and interesting walk to the old port. The only inconvenience is that you must park in an underground lot."

"For what was advertised, you couldn't fault the hotel, room was good and breakfast was good with a few decent choices for breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only thing that would have made it better was a water fountain to refill water bottles, but wasn't the end of the world."
