"Not sure of the setup here but actually stayed in the sister hotel next door. Not sure I noticed the Mercedes ever be open. Everything was fine enough and ok for the price. Generally bedding and towels were clean. The room itself was clean although dusty in some neglected areas. The room smelled of smoke though and the bathroom light didn’t work. The room did have a balcony though which was nice. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again and think Expedia ought to check the listing details are...

"The Marriott is centrally located, within easy walking distance to the City Hall, the Hamburg Congress Centre where my conference was. It was a nice stroll to the Hauptbahnhof too. The room is lovely and the bed so comfortable. The hotel lobby is elegantly furnished. The buffet breakfast has a good spread. We were there for one week and we enjoyed the breakfast every morning. All the hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. "
