"The hotel staff were really clear and friendly. Our room had no window which was as expected for the “cinema” room. The location was great. The free water and small but mighty gym were surprising delighters. If you plan to be spending the majority of your day out, this hotel and specific room type may be the perfect fit for you too. "

The only problem it's to get there, it doesn't have a easy connection with the centre of Lyon and around the hotel there is not enough things to do and the Hotel doesn't have instalation for recreation. "I had a great stay at Le Phenix! The room was surprisingly big for a single room and the bed was super comfortable. It was very clean too. The staff at reception were so lovely! The only slight downside was that there was a fair bit of noise in the mornings with people outside going about their day but it really wasn't too bad. I would definitely stay here again!"

Every staff member was always nice and helpful. The convenience of the restaurant, cafe, etc. was important - also, what a beautiful park to walk through. "Very nice hotel, I stayed for 2 nights. No parking on site, the streets are extremely narrow so be mindful as you drive. There was some shenanigans going on outside on the street a bit of a fight. At night the area might not be safe but during the day is fine. There is no parking at the hotel, but a few streets down there is a large, very clean underground parking, so that was fine. I would say for sight seeing the hotel is well located, walking distance from a lot of attractions, including the Musée des Beaux Arts. I would go there again. "
