Peaceful rural retreat

A much loved and delightful retreat in the beautiful Brittany countryside. This delightful cottage is full of personal touches and has been enjoyed by couples and families aswell as family and friends. It is within 10 minutes of the medieval town, Dinan and 20 minutes from stunning coast. Relax in the garden late into long, warm summer evenings or get cosy in front of the wood burner after romantic walks. A lovely place to return to.

Lovely picturesque cottage

We had a lovely time between the flowers and fruit trees and in the well equipped cottage! Mira de really thought about everything detail. There are lots of nice places to visit in the area such as Dinan, Dinard and St. Malo.

Breton Haven

This cottage is such a quaint place! It's all very thoughtfully arranged. And the garden is also so nicely composed. The smell of the honeysuckle is amazing! We even spotted a hummingbird hawkmoth! All in all, the house is not very spacious but alright for 2 grown-ups and 2 kids. And outside there's a big table to eat outside. The kitchen is totally equipped and there's a washing machine in the cellar, which is very handy. The village is really small and idyllic, albeit a bit remote. That needs to be considered beforehand. We enjoyed the quiet very much. And the busy, bubbly and outstandingly beautiful city of Dinan is just around the corner (a 10 minute drive away!). And many other sights are within reach, like Saint Malo, Mont Saint Michel, beautiful beaches etc. Go visit Whileaway Cottage!

Das Ferienhaus liegt wunderbar ruhig in einem kleinen Dorf und ist perfekt und sehr persönlich ausgestattet. Es hat hat einen schönen Garten mit Sitzmöglichkeiten und einer Tischtennisplatte, an der wir viel Spaß hatten. Dinan, Dinard, St Malo und diverse herrliche Strände sind gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich, großzügig und hilfsbereit.Toll war auch, dass wir die Fahrräder nutzen konnten.

Schattige cottage in het mooie Bretagne

Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad in de schattige cottage van Miranda. De cottage is niet zo groot, maar je vindt er alles wat je nodig hebt. Eigenaresse Miranda is zeer gastvrij! Ook de mensen die je tegenkomt in het kleine buurtschapje zijn erg vriendelijk. Een mooie uitvalsbasis om het Noorden van Bretagne te ontdekken. Faciliteiten zoals grote supermarkten zijn erg dichtbij. En de mooie plaats Dinan is echt een aanrader als je hier bent.

Une charmante maison cosy avec un adorable jardin . Située dans un hameau , un vrai petit paradis.C'est calme .Et la region est tres belle. Nous avions un mariage au chateau de la guerche, ideal comme pied à terre.

Le gîte est certes petit mais tellement cosy et bien aménagé. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances avec nos enfants. Le calme du village nous a fait un bien fou. Le panier offert par la propriétaire était excellent. Bref, à recommander.

We stayed in this delightful cottage in September, definitely ‘a peaceful rural retreat’. It is full of original features and well equipped with everything that you might need for your stay. Comfy beds, a good kitchen/lounge area, complete with secluded garden for outside dining. We found plenty of places to eat out in nearby Lanvallay but would recommend not travelling into Rennes by car! Visiting the beautiful St Malo is a must.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Alles, was man für einen Aufenthalt an Ausstattung benötigt, war vorhanden. Ein kleines Idyll mit guter Lage zu den Städten Dinan, Dinard, St. Malo und dem Mt. Saint Michel. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Gute Abwicklung und beste Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin.

Pleasant stay at this lovely cottage

We had a good time at this wonderful little cottage, upstairs for tall Dutch people :) is was minding your head but everything was very neat and proper. The kitchen was fully equipped, not often that everything is available. We were also pleasantly surprised by the treats the host left behind and the beamer to watch movies in the evening. The garden is great with as special highlights for our kids the ping pong table. And although the weather was not always great we had the opportunity to eat outside everyday , plenty of room for that. The bikes were great (you need a little bit of a good condition as the surroundings are hilly). The place is a little bit in the middle of nowhere but with the tips from Miranda and all information available there is plenty to do. In 30 min drive you have wonderful beaches and of course the village of Dinan, Dinand , Saint Malo and Rennes. Overall we have a lovely time !

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Whileaway Cottage sehr genossen - haben jeden Tag in dem schönen, natürlichen Garten gegessen und auch Tischtennis gespielt. Das Haus ist klein und typisch Bretonisch - passt sehr gut in die Gegend! Der Standpunkt war für uns genial: sehr ruhig und erholsam aber gleichzeitig konnten wir von dort aus alle schönen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Gegenden der Bretagne erreichen. Empfehlenswert!
