"My partner and I came here to celebrate our 2nd anniversary with a little staycation, and it was the most relaxing few days we’ve had in a while!
The staff was super kind and went the extra mile to make the occasion extra special, and I’m extremely grateful for that
Nice little hotel, clean rooms, good food, would recommend!"

"We loved the location for exploring Marieville, along with the historic structure of the building itself. We met other travelers who were friendly and considerate. I would stay there again."

I stayed here the weekend of the Canadian GP. While the area itself is not very convenient if you want to go venture into the city, you can get to the metro or use buses fairly easily. I used Ubers and taxis, which does add up. I had a deluxe room that was really nice with some really neat customizable mood lighting - one thing I will mention that I didn’t personally mind because I was by myself but others might is that the shower stall is not in the bathroom and instead is right next to the...

Parking is horrendous. I'm driving sedan, it's a bit on the low side and I scraped with bottom on my car on the edges going uphill or downhill.
The rest of the hotel was great.

Overall nice hotel. Pool, hot tub, sauna, outside bar, duck pond, multiple areas to relax. All are rare to see in downtown Montreal. Had a great time and will be staying here again next visit.

Great hotel above a popular Ethiopian restaurant in the perfect location in the Plateau. Staff could not have been more friendly. Very close to great food and Metro. Highly recommend.

My husband and I wanted to spend a couple of nights in Montreal for his birthday, so I did my homework and this hotel got a lot of positive reviews. We were not disappointed on choosing Auberge du Carre St-Louis.
I booked us a room with a balcony; in fact our room had TWO doors that opened to the balcony, one off of the bedroom suite, the other off of the kitchenette. It felt like we had a deluxe mini apartment! The bed was big, comfy, and with a perfect down comforter. We found that the...
