Great food in a stunning space, with so many natural ingredients grown on property or in the area. The Castle is old school, historic, rustic, but lovely. The grounds are stunning and special. Nathan was a brilliant manager and breakfast there is fabulous and a piece of artistry. Thank you for the wonderful stay. "

"Perfectly situated for a mid holiday stop over. Reception were excellent no fuss getting checked in. Rooms adequate if not modernised but perfect for a family and all you need. Location is near a massive retail park 3 m ins drive where you can get some food in the evening hours. Breakfast was also spot on. Recommend a stay if passing."

"Such a great spot! Beautiful views, quiet area despite the train that passed directly behind the hotel. We barely heard it. We had a triple which was actually two rooms. Very comfortable beds, spacious rooms and nice bathroom. Dinner in the restaurant t was delicious. The best pork I’ve ever had. Nice bar patio area. Would definitely recommend d this property. "
