Great stay!

We had a great time staying at Hotel Castellamar. Very charming hotel, cozy rooms, and super friendly owners/hosts. Will definitely stay there again.

Perfect stay and place

The hotel is cost and beautiful. The service is above and beyond any 4 or 5 stars hotel. We treated like royalty. The decor of the lobby is retro and inviting. Quiet, comfortable and homey, We felt at home and among family and friends.

Amazing hotel

This hotel is absolutely charming—small, boutique-style, exceptionally clean, and it smells wonderful. The shower is fantastic, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The service has been excellent as well. The only downside is that Google Maps and Waze don’t direct you to the exact entrance; they lead you to a street behind the hotel. Just head to the front of that street—you’ll see a flag marking the hotel entrance—and pull into the small parking area there.

The most friendly and welcoming host imaginable. Able to park at the hotel. Lovely shaded courtyard. Comfortable bed, excellent shower, unique and interesting decor throughout the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Well-priced drinks. A few minutes’ stroll to the beach, a very easy walk to the centre of town. Highly recommended.

Very eclectic small hotel. Manager greeted us & showed us to our room. No elevator so he carried our bags up the stairs for us. Hard to find the entrance to the hotel parking. Took us 3 tries.

This hotel offers great value for the price. It's safe, incredibly convenient, and has a rich breakfast selection that’s perfect for starting your day—especially for English speakers, since finding a simple breakfast can sometimes be a challenge. We were very happy with our stay. Our room was tiny, but it didn’t matter to us; we only slept there and were out exploring all day. The staff was super friendly and always ready to assist with anything. An important note: check-in ends at 8 PM, so if you’re arriving later, be sure to call ahead—they’ll accommodate you without a problem. Some reviews mention that the entrance is hard to find, but we didn’t have any trouble—there’s a sign about the size of a mid-sized car with an arrow pointing to the hotel. The parking is tight, but where isn’t it? We’ll definitely be back!

The owners are very unprofessional. The place is a house made into a motel. They tried walking in on us.

We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at this ‘bijous’ hotel on the edge of Sainte-Maxime. The owner’s were lovely, friendly and very accommodating. The hotel is set back with ample parking at the front. The interior decor was very retro which we loved, our room although relatively small( which we expected)was spotlessly clean with an en-suite however there was no coffee making facilities which was a little disappointing. Breakfast was taken in their lovely front garden amongst the trees and was a typical continental breakfast including, juice, coffee, croissants, yogurt, omelette, etc. The Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the main shopping and restaurant area so ideally placed. I’d recommend this Hotel and definitely stay again.

Mauvaise expérience : malgré un accueil très sympa je ne retournerai pas : difficultés d’accès car passage très étroit , parking ridiculement petit sans place disponible, douche à la place d’un placard, literie à changer, chambre insonorisée, salle d’eau minuscule, pour un prix au delà de 150€ …..

Fint mindre hotell i centrala delarna av Sainte Maxime. Rummet var trevligt och välstädat. Personalen var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam, lät oss även checka in en timma tidigare då vi ankom tidigt. Kan varmt rekommendera detta boende. Nära till stranden. Fanns parkering gratis på hotellets framsida.
