"This is a cute 60-year old Japanese house tucked away in a funky part of Yokohama filled with small bars (including my favorite jazz bar). The home has been remodeled in a way that keeps the charm of the old house, but has the conveniences of a modern international hotel (easy shower, Toto, speedy wifi). They also are great hosts and have a nice small lobby where people can hang out. The rate is very reasonable and personable compared with a capsule hotel. "

"Close to a train station one stop from Yokohama. Plenty of cafes and shops, department store, currency exchange office. In the place itself you go over a sort of, I think it is a swimming centre floor, not sure, but after reception you have to take your shoes off and wear slippers they provide to walk over the floor. "We ALWAYS stay at Hilton Tokyo Bay every trip to Japan! The BEST STAFF & Hilton Hotel! We love it there! The staff is always so friendly & helpful! Having stayed there numerous times, we have made friends with some of the staff members! The rooms are big and very clean! Comfortable and it is not your typical Japanese Hotel room. Very spacious. All I can say is LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this hotel & their friendly staff! We will be staying there again on our next trip to Japan…hopefully soon! 😊"
