"I didn’t realize I had booked a room in a separate building a couple of blocks away. We arrived very late due to delayed flights. The desk clerk was lovely, but the key card didn’t work as expected, so we were left scrambling a bit to get into several unfamiliar doors with unfamiliar keys at 2:30 am. It all worked out, but it made check-in a bit challenging. The room was wonderful. "

The pool area was clean within easy access into the pool which is important for me with reduced mobility. We were called back to the hotel because our dog was barking early evening, but people were allowed to late at night and continued without anything done. "The place is located close/walking distance to the city center. We have to call the proprietor as this not a hotel, we were asked to pick up our keys at the caffe (where we had our Italian breakfast- delicious pastry and coffee too). The room was on 3rd floor, elevator is working well. The building is clean and safe. The only thing we have to say was the bathroom door doesn't close (looks like door was smaller??). Our hostess was very helpful and pleasant. "

"Parking is major issue. Circled block 3 times to find spot in blue. But once parked, easy walk to all sites. Great communication by WhatsApp. Only 2 floors but many stairs up. Very glad we had backpacks. Great recommendations for drinks and food. Breakfast on roof top very nice. We sat there in evening drinking wine while the sun set."
