"Lovely country pub,spacious clean room with lovely big bathroom,really comfortable bed.Had a lovely evening meal, the waitress was really helpful and got our order in quickly after giving us the heads up that there were a lot of large parties in that evening and ordering promptly would be beneficial,food was amazing and good value. "Really great location close to the train station. Staff were really helpful, especially with storing bags after check out. Room was clean, although the bathroom did have a lingering solvent smell, like it had recently been repainted. The hotel itself runs its own shuttle service to Stonehenge which was super convenient. Breakfast was good too."

On site restaurant, good selection of real ales, limited parking on site. Rooms are clean, comfortable beds and lovely en-suite facilities. Staff are friendly and have good local knowledge. Will definitely stay here again."

"I had a whirlwind stop, not getting to the hotel till 9.30pm, what was nice, was to be shown to the room and not just handed a key. Room was spacious and modern, lovely and clean with everything you need. Breakfast was excellent. I didn't get chance to explore but the setting at the rear with the river looked glorious."

The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable from start to finish. Our room was absolutely gorgeous — beautifully decorated, comfortable and full of character. We really couldn’t fault our stay and would definitely return."

"We used this location to visit Stonehenge as well as the Old Harry Rocks/Dorset Coast in general. It was also convenient and easy to sneak a day trip into Bath from this spot. It was perfect for our longer days, coming back to a clean apartment with all the amenities to cook our own meals. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. On site parking is available for £5 per day or if you arrive by train it’s a mere 100 meters to the station. If you arrive by train, the location is very walkable to grocery stores and local attractions (Salisbury Cathedral). Staff were super responsive in the Expedia chat and very friendly. It’s a self check in / check out, with staff on site in case you experience any issues. The fridge/table was also stocked with complimentary breakfast items which was a nice touch. There is a full laundry room, again stocked with laundry detergent, stain remover, etc. Would absolutely recommend staying here and if I am ever back in the area, I would stay here again myself."

"Location was on a busy main road so exiting by car was difficult at times. Car parking although off road was tight. A bit too far to walk into Salisbury for an evening meal and nothing close by was good enough. Breakfast was hot and excellent, many choices. Staff very friendly. A very distinguished property with quiet rooms, no squeaky floorboards as we have seen and heard elsewhere. A lovely place and would stay again."
