My main concern was the lack of ability to come and go without having to make contact with the property manager by phone, with the possible roblem that they were using their phone and consequently couldn't respond promptly."

"Really happy with my stay. Half the price (£65 for Walnut Room) and twice as good as city centre chains. There was a bit of traffic noise (building is close to a busy road) but the room had character (v high ceilings), nice furniture, comfortable bed, was clean and in a good location. Easy to find fault in places but as someone who regularly works away for work, this is definitely a 'come back to'."

Overall ok thanks to the other guest Michael who welcomed me and also showed me that there was a kitchen (microwave oven), which I could use. "At first entry the property absolutely reaked of stale spices, I assumed somebody had just cooked but the smell remained until I left. My room at the front of the house was fine. A little bit dirty in places. The real nightmare was the bathroom. After walking through the kitchen which was dirty, full of dirty dishes, unswept/mopped for weeks and lacking supplies, I found 2 full binbags inside by the back door and then went to the bathroom. It was filthy. The bath with weeks worth or black hair...
