"I had a wonderful stay at The Carten in Naples, its hidden little place just steps away from the port. The views of the city and the castle was absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. "Unfortunately our stay wasn't that good! The first day of our arrival that hotel told us, after we reached them, that there is a problem with the room and they transferred us to an apartment that had no WiFi, no shower curtains and not even a bathroom door! The next day we checked in at the hotel yet we were informed that there is no daily houskeeping if the stay is less than 3 nights, and that was not announced on hotels.com! The area is a little shady but still central and close to everything...

"The hotel, staff and room were amazing. The one negative was that, without any advance notice, the hotel’s restaurant was closed to a private function on both nights, a Thursday and Friday. For a Michilen starred restaurant, that would be unheard of in the US. What made it a bit worse is the staff were clearly uncomfortable with the situation, and would simply say the restaurant was “fully booked,” which was not quite accurate. "
