"What a break…pineapple jelly with coconut bread, smoothies, coffee with milk (in bamboo), eggs, cheese, plantanos and ham! Flowers in seashells topped the presentation! We had a choice to be served on the veranda or to have a floating tray in the waterfall pool. This place has absolutely outdone any and all competition in my book! If ever in Las Galeras, I highly recommend Chalet Tropical Bio-hotel! It will surpass any expectations and then some!"

The staff greeted us and made sure we were comfortable for the evening. My kids loved that we were staying in a "castle". The experience is very different from staying in a traditional hotel. "This is a well designed spece and concept for adults. They have everything you need and you trully feel disconnected from the fast pace of the city life. The food is amazing, done right there in from of you with natural local produce and ingredients. The service is outstanding, they trully strive to make you feel at home. "The room was very spacious and clean. It was a little odd that there weren’t numbers by the door so you need to remember which room is yours but nothing too major. We had a late flight that day from Santo Domingo and Bartolomeo let us check out late and enjoy a full day at Las Galeras. Would definitely stay again if I were to return to Las Galeras!"

"Pro: Very well located. About 20 meters from the beach. The place and room were as advertised. The next door restaurants (both) are really nice and their owners make you feel like family. Con: breakfast wasn’t included (yet the listing said it was) and the parking facilities left much to be desired. In fact discovered someone gifted me with a fender bender / hit and run while parked there."
