"We lucked out and received a bigger room than we had paid for. Well equipped apartment although the sofa's weren't very comfortable. Location is good ... across from the beach. The walk downtown takes about 20 minutes ... the road is narrow so you have to pay attention to the traffic as you walk. Pool was nice. Breakfasts were good. There is a ping pong table. Staff is friendly and helpful. Didn't use the spa. Nice big porch attached to the room but couldn't use it as much as we would have liked because of the mosquitos. Lots of friendly cats on the hotel grounds ... we adopted one for the week... a real sweet heart!"

Not something that could be addressed immediately by bothering the staff, but something we found ourselves lamenting throughout the days after sleeping on them. Literally everything else was a dream. "I stayed in the xeliter Balcones for a week . I liked it very much. It is little away from the restaurant strip about 20 minutes walking and 5 minutes by car or scooter. The beach is accessible accross the property and was awesome and not crowded but very secured. There is a restaurant right in front of the property with valleyball court. We enjoyed a lot. You can coo in the apartment. Some apartments have gas grills and nice size balconies. There was no pollution. It was awesome. Rooms were clean staff was very friendly this place is very family friendly."
