"We had a wonderful and relaxing family vacation at Meliá in Puerto Vallarta. This resort is especially well-suited for families with young children. Our kids loved the pool, which is shallow in most areas—even more so than the nearby beach—making it perfect for safe water play. There’s also a calm ocean cove with gentle waves that added to our peace of mind. The hotel grounds were beautifully maintained and incredibly clean. The staff were always pleasant, welcoming, and ready to help with anything we needed. We mostly ate at the buffet restaurants for breakfast and dinner, and were very pleased with the variety and quality of the meals. The tropical fruits were especially delicious and abundant. Lunch by the pool was also a big plus—super convenient for families who don’t want to interrupt their day of fun. Evenings were a highlight, with family-friendly shows every night. Our favorites included the pirate show, a fantastic magician, live mariachi music, an Easter egg hunt, and outdoor movie nights on the grass. These thoughtful touches made every day feel special. To top it all off, the sounds of tropical birds and the occasional iguana crossing the path added a magical, exotic feel to the experience. We’re very happy with the value and memories we made, and would gladly return!"

"Beach and pool areas very well maintained. Room very comfortable, clean and had plenty of towels, hand towels, face cloths and bar well maintained. One comment our group found - portions of food, especially at the Steak House, was over whelming! One of the best meals was at the Mexican restaurant on our last night - right portions of food! Accommodated our group when 8-17 people would gather for dinner! "
