"Very friendly hosts, breakfast was delicious! We loved looking out at the garden and we had a little terrace off our room, but it was just so hot when we were there we didn’t really get to enjoy it. We found the air conditioning in our room had a hard time keeping up, so they gave us a fan and that helped a lot. Bed was comfortable and there were always snacks in the main area. An important note, there are a lot of stairs, so if you need a handicapped accessible property this is not it, but it was very charming. "

"We had a fantastic stay. The room we stayed in was spacious with all the amenities needed and had the necessary air con when temperatures were excessively high. The breakfast was excellent and set is up for the day. There were complimentary snacks, pastries, fruit, tea and coffee available throughout the day. All staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful and did their utmost to ensure we had a great stay. The hotel has lots of character and is well placed to see ‘tourist’ sites but also to escape the crowds. We would definitely return if revisiting Florence in the future or try one of their sister hotels. "
