Hotel Ristorante La Piana

"There was minimal contact with staff and very few directions or instructions for room access and other hotel features. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The lights in the hallways were almost always off. Had to use the mobile phone flashlight on one occasion."

"We had a fabulous stay! The owner Emmanuela is friendly, gracious and super helpful. She has also great restaurant recommendations. We felt like we were staying in an art gallery. Everything was tastefully designed mixing modern art with the beautiful old world building. Location is perfect for exploring the area. Parking is bit of an issue. Campobasso is a busy city, so you will need to find paid street parking. Otherwise I do highly recommend this place for the location and charm."

"This has been an amazing stay with the nature, swimming pool and even the room. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Although it is a small hotel, they have facilities to serve large group I guess. We feel like it was like haven. The hotel is a bit outside of the city though. However, they also provide as needed shuttle/car service with a charge. Only one thing I would suggest is to ask for the charge of the shuttle service you take in advance so that you know what they are going to charge you. Taxi service seems to be expensive in the area overall. Also it is hard to get a taxi. However, they could provide ride as needed and without delay. Highly recommend!"

"The Grand Hotel was an excellent place to stay.The staff was very helpful and friendly, it was very easy to walk to most places but the location is good for driving as well. The room was very clean and the atmosphere is amazing. It's our favorite place to stay in Campobasso!"
Hotel La Tavernetta

"I had the privilege of staying at La Tavernetta for 11 days this past July. It's an exceptionally well run family business where each family member contributes to the overall satisfaction of the guests. We were well received by all family members particularly Davide and Antonietta. The Hotel also has a restaurant and pool. The room was very clean and air conditioned. The pool area is very very nice. Davide is everywhere making sure that guests receive the best possible service. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. The breakfast was also very good. Antonietta is always present. The grounds are very well maintained. I will definitely return as we enjoyed our stay very much. My son loved it. It felt like we were visiting family. A big shout out to the Marinelli family. "This was a return visit…. This time in the warmer weather so we were able to enjoy the pool and deck area…. Excellent ! The rooms are simply appointed but are clean comfortable and relaxing. My room (and I believe most or all ) have an outdoor area table and chairs area in a beautiful garden setting. We did get an opportunity to sample the food and again we enjoyed everything… Also their own wine is really very good. We bought a few bottles to ring home. But for me the top feature of this property is the staff … because this is a boutique size hotel (less than 10 rooms I think) the staff to guest ratio is very high … and they are eager to make your stay the best it can be…. The manager Julia is a gem always making sure you have whatever you need …"
