"The staff were amazing. We were allowed in early check-in since our room was ready. The staff, the grounds, the location we're all wonderful. They have an ice machine with a filtered water station right next to it. Which was extremely convenient. The front office was available to help with tours and shuttles. The breakfast was very good for a free breakfast. Our small room only had 2 outlets, which made charging devices a little challenging. We had a ground level floor and could hear a lot from the rooms above us. Also, the laundry service was very expensive, so we chose to do it elsewhere. They had no pool but you can use the pool at their sister hotel Poco a poco."

"I liked staying at the Trapp Hotel Monteverde that I rearranged our travel plans to stay an extra night! The hotel is beautifully maintained and everyone was kind and hospitable. The breakfast was delicious and the RESTAURANT was amazing!! We stayed 5 nights and ate there every night. The chicken salad and beef tenderloin with fresh mushrooms and mashed potatoes were next level. We stayed in the forest suite, with giant picture windows and a king size bed. The beds are firm but felt good for our backs. One note, if you’re staying here bring your own snacks. Other than that, 11/10. Here’s why: Hospitality: we checked in really late the 1st night, and they were kind enough to accommodate that. The security guard walked us to our room and offered to help carry luggage, he is so kind. The front desk employees are patient and kind too! Safety: There is an awesome security guard patrolling at night, and our room was enclosed securely in a locked hallway (we lock it from the inside). I never felt unsafe and even walked around the hotel at night to look at bugs and nocturnal animals. Suite: Firm bedding, plenty of outlets, large bathroom and picture windows. Eco-friendly toiletries that smell out of this world! No microwave or fridge. Not really needed. Proximity: An easy 10-15 minute walk to Monteverde Cloud Forest and Cafe Colibrí! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will hopefully be back again next year :)"

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. We kept asking them for great places to eat and they always had a new place for us to go that was amazing. The apartment we stayed at had a fireplace that my wife enjoyed at night and an arcade game for the kids to play with. It was a great place for us to relax at the end of the day and get ready for the next days activities."

"Property was amazing and staff are very warm and helpful. Trails on the property are very nice. Definitely do the night tour as the guide was able to find sloths, tarantulas, green viper, and kinkajou. We did not use the pool. Restaurant on site was reasonably priced and very good food."
