From the moment we stepped from our transfer, we were treated royally - the staff is trained well, very friendly, and efficient! The courtyard, used for meals, was lovely - heaters provided for cooler weather. The menus for both breakfast and dinner offered a variety of local as well as international options. Our standard room was small, but very comfortable. The best feature, for those who love to walk, is the location - a twenty minute stroll from central downtown, near wonderful museums...

I had a wonderful time at Casa 69. All of the staff were accommodating and friendly. Casa 69 is great for solo traveling, couples, or groups. The breakfast was amazing and they arranged pickup and drop off to/from the airport. I highly recommend and will be back again!

The property was very well organized and made from recycled material! The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. And the breakfast was amazing. My family of 11 enjoyed our stay immensely!

The staff at the Bougainvillea welcome and get to know each and every one of their guests. You feel like you are a guest in their own home. The rooms are clean and spacious with great views of the mountain or the garden - I had a tree top view of a flowering Margarita tree - sensational! This place is absolute perfection! The staff all made us feel super welcome, it was exactly as described, and breakfast is included (to die for). We decided to do dinner at Alma and Chef did not disappoint, we kept having lunch and dinner there after that. The staff was super sweet and accommodating 10/10

Everyone was so friendly and helpful from desk to the cleaning staff. Service was impeccable. I love the restaurant. The food was excellent and the drinks were the best I’ve had. We went there two of three nights and I regret not being able to go our last night. I will definitely be back when I return to San Jose

Posada El Quijote is outstanding. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful, and the view of San Jose from the inn is outstanding. This hostel is better than the pictures advertised, the staff are very friendly and respectful. Plenty of room in the main area to hangout and meet people. Front door is a buzz to open door, which I’m sure makes some people feel more safe. Hostel also offers massage services and I think they do 10 minutes for free with purchase. Property was beautiful..with a amazing view

Lolas is decorated beautifully and is so adorable. It felt super safe as there were cameras everywhere and it was gated. The property is a 7 minute walk to the bus stop, and was the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed at. There wasnt AC but the fans kept it cool enough to sleep. The woman Dila was also so lovely & helpful. Thank you so much!

We stood here for 3 nights and it was super cozy and very comfortable. We got the private room and shared the Br with one other room, everything was kept clean and the space is beautiful ! There’s plenty of space to hang out,work/homework and the kitchen is a cute space with great espresso!

Had a hard time finding this place because the online directions were wrong. However, the difficulty finding it was more than outweighed by our experience with the hotel itself.
