This is the best deal in San Jose. The place is modern, the bed was amazing, the restaurant was awesome. Location was central. Highly recommended. Staff was super helpful .

This hotel doesn't aspire to be elegant, but it is clean, comfortable, and efficiently run. I was especially impressed by the personal and always cheerful treatment I received from every member of the staff.

I was a little worried during the taxi ride to the hotel that I had made a terrible mistake in picking the hotel as some of the areas look a little rough (by American standards), however, once at the gated hotel I realized that I indeed had made a good choice when choosing the location as the property is incredibly calming and beautiful. Just know that since you are out of the city you will need to use Uber eat or a taxi to get food as there is no onsite restaurant.

The hotel is new and modern. The room is comfortable, the breakfast is pretty fantastic and the staff friendly and attentive. It is located near restaurants and a shopping center. I would stay again

Great experience ! Dave ,Marsha, Elezar and the staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable ,and everything was taken care of. They arranged a tour,massage, taxi service, meal delivery, and were always there with any questions I had. Fresh breakfasts using local ingredients were delicious. We stayed and Studio Hotel for the second time after the first experience was very pleasurable. The rooms are great, the staff extremely friendly, and the location is hard to beat. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We only staid here for a night but it was very cozy ! They picked us up from the airport at 11pm and took us to our room. Very quiet place with friendly staff and other guests. You make your own breakfast with what they have in the communal kitchen and the freshly cut pineapple and papaya were a big plus.

What an incredible experience we had at Laurie's bed & breakfast. Laurie was so helpful and knowledgeable about everything! and helped us to customize our time in Costa Rica. She had great suggestions on where to go, what to do, and places to eat and we enjoyed all of it!!! She definitely made our trip memorable. She is a very gracious and welcoming host. We loved everything about this hotel and we are so happy we chose to stay here. The hotel was very clean; we would come in and our room would smell and look amazing. The food options at the restaurant were excellent (we tried all the local dishes and local juices/milkshakes). We felt that the location was perfect- we liked the fact that the airport shuttle was easily accessible; we felt safe walking around the area; and the best part was having a Walmart so close (walking distance) for snacks...

I have been here for a month and will be happily extending my stay another month. Ronald and his wife have been exemplary hosts! She is a charming lady who makes delicious breakfasts and does my laundry as necessary for a very reasonable rate. Ronald goes out of his way to make his guests stay a memorable experience. Beautiful hacienda with gorgeous grounds, huge room and great air conditioning. Beds were comfortable and large. We were served a free hot breakfast on the veranda which was lovely and unexpected. The surrounding location is fairly industrial so we were surprised when we saw the huge gate open and the oasis within.

My husband and I have been using this hotel as our "go to home away from home" since giving up our rental property almost ten years ago for our then frequent trips to the city. Hotel and restaurant owners ourselves, we truly appreciate this hotel and the "break" it provides us when we step off the beach to enjoy the city.
