Our room was not ready at time of check-in due to a leaking AC unit, but that was not our biggest complaint. The issue we had is that the hotel charged us for what they claimed was a destroyed hand towel. We went to El Yunque national forest and our shoes got a little dirty. My wife used one of the hand towels to clean up her shoe. Less than 1 hour after checking out we got a text that they were going to charge us for the hand towel because it was destroyed. We asked them to try to wash it first before charging us and they said that they already did (which was obviously a lie because we checked out less than an hour before). They proceeded to charge our credit card without authorization (and for an amount that was excessive for a plain white hand towel). This seemed pretty petty and bordering on fraud. I would highly recommend to avoid this hotel.

Loved our room and the staff. They were amazing! Location is perfect to explore Old San Juan. Only disappointment was the rooftop bar and the first floor restaurant were closed and we were not made aware at time of booking. There of course are plenty of rooftops, bars and breakfast/coffee nearby

Everything was great. Clean room, friendly helpful staff, and a great location for nightlife. The only thing that was different from the listing is the rooftop bar was closed down. But with all the options that are surrounding the hotel, it wasn’t a problem.

Would have rated this 5 stars. However a $35 fee was added. After checkout We dirtied a bed sheet with either a spit of makeup or shoe dirt and apparently this constituted destroying the sheets rather than washing them. Not happy.

This is our second time staying here. You can’t beat how close the hotel is to everything. We walked to most of our destinations. It’s also easy to rent a car or do a ride share. The staff were great and loved the rooftop view.

The staff was very friendly. We were able to explore old San Juan while leaving our luggage at the hotel before checking in . We received great recommendations for restaurants and activities . I really enjoyed staying here. It was super close to everything we wanted to see and do in Old San Juan. There is a lot of charm and character to the building and rooms which made the experience really nice also. The staff were all really nice and helpful. Daniel at the front desk was particularly helpful after our checkout and giving us recommendations for our last day. I would definitely stay here again.
