The Neighborhood

Historic neighborhood - 100 years of construction.
Miramar is one of the premier neighborhoods in San Juan and with 14 restaurants within two blocks of this location it is the gastronomic epicenter also.
Pueblo supermarket is located two blocks from the property and it is stocked with most food and beverages you may need.

Getting around

Bus stop is one block away and for $0.50 you can get around within the San Juan metro area.

A GOOD Very nice quaint well styled apartment. Full kitchen, air-conditioning, beautiful bathroom and shower- just right for me (maybe a little scruffy around the edges-but very clean inside the apartment) comfortable bed, comfortable futon for my guest. Great location next to the lagoon with a cute little beach -walk to Condado in 10 minutes… And the most important part the hosts Tony and his wife are si nice, gracious, kind, accommodating and helpful. Tony responded to every message within minutes! However, it is next to a highway evidently with drag racing now and then- not necessarily a total quiet place- Other apartments on the property people coming and going- but it’s well taken care of!

Most horrible stay ever

Mosquitoes like crazy, bad case of humidity, people knocking and screaming at my door at 3 am. I asked for a refund and they are asking g me for proof. I left the place about 15 days before it was uber and I left event though I lost half of my 3500. So I left because this place is the most horrible place I have ever stayed in anywhere. And the neither the host nor VRBO helped me. Waste of money never stay there please don’t make the same mistake I made.

Disappointed

I normally do not like to give bad reviews but I feel like I should be honest. The place itself is what you pay for. It has portions of the place that look unfinished and there were areas that looked like they needed repairs. It is a small place and meant for probably just 2 people. Our last night there we had a parade of water bugs coming from the kitchen. I spoke to the owner and was told he would send someone out to help but no one ever showed up. Also if you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you. There was a truck in the driveway that was extremely loud and can be heard every morning at 7 am. You can also hear all of the cars and airplanes as they pass. I might do a hotel the next time I visit.

Spring break trip

My three friends and I stayed at this apartment and loved our short-term stay in PR! The location of the apartment was perfect for walking to the beach or exploring Miramar. The neighborhood was very safe. The space was small and lacked natural light but served us well. What the apartment lacked in interior design it more than made up for in location and affordability. The host was incredibly helpful and communicative and we look forward to visiting San Juan again!

For the money- go to a hotel

What was I most unhappy about? Broken toilet seat? No hot water? Ants? Peeling paint, slapped on paint, rust ? No top sheet on the bed? Yea, that would be a start. I wasn’t expecting the Taj Mahal for the price but for the same price I could have not messed with 3 different combinations, driven down a dark alley at night and pounded on a door because the appropriate information hadn’t been sent. I could go on but why. We are trying to forget

misleading listing

Would have been okay if he didn’t change the sheets twice on the only bed to make it appear as if there were two queen beds. It is a pull out futon and a queen. There is also no hot water so be prepared for some cold showers.

Easy access, close to everything in San Juan. Parking was the only issue. I ended up with a $200fine

The renting of the property was very easy at a great price. It’s not an upscale place which is understandable for the price, but definitely a safe, clean place.

Nice stay

Very close to popular Beach and Bars. Toilet got clogged and owner got someone over quick. Great air conditioning. I had to turn it down cause it worked very well. So I'm not high maintenance person. So It is a good place to sleep after partying. There is a little street noise but it gets quite later. Hot water in kitchen and bathroom sink was great but the shower needs a better heater. Shower was slightly warm and it would get cold. It didn't bother me too much because I am use to warm water because I go camping.

Wonderful location & Excellent host

Anthony is the best host you will find! He is kind and will respond to your messages VERY quickly. He was also able to accommodate us several times because the airlines kept changing our flight schedules. He is simply amazing. Now about the property. It is a gem for sure. It is a cozy little nook on a small corner of paradise. You have a variety of restaurants just one block away, and the beach is right across the street from the property. Parking is a little tricky, so I would not recommend renting a car if you are only visiting San Juan. Anthony did his best to accommodate us but we still ended up with a parking ticket. I would recommend this property, and when I return to PR I plan to stay there again! Thank you, Anthony!

Anthony is a great host.

This apartment is nicely located in town. I called Anthony, the host, a few times to fix a thing or two and he was right there. I appreciated that very much. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great Location

I felt very comfortable and there was a lot of restaurants near by as well a supermarket. Also, I liked that Condado was across the street and I was able to go for a walk, the beach, the bay, and Old San Juan.

Quiet and easy!

Convenient access to restaurants, beach, and bus to old San Juan. Small, clean, tv cable channels.

Relatively inexpensive place to sleep if one intends to spend days out and about. Anthony is extremely friendly, helpful, and fluent.

Decent, simple but not walking distance

This fit our basic needs for the quick stay we had after a cruise but it’s very isolated from local attractions so we had to spend $ for every trip to restaurants, Old San Juan, the beaches, everything. Considering the $5 one way uber expenses plus no views at all, worn furnishings and linens, super slow internet, impolite and subpar cleaning staff and the road noise from the expressway, I should have chosen a different rental. If you just need a place to drop your bags, it’s alright...but even an Uber to the airport is pricey!

Beautiful place

The apartment was beautiful and comfy the master shower drain was clogged but Anthony is very attentive. Only thing I hated about our stay was I had to go home, Anthony I will be returning with my family Thank you!!
