"The owner, Mr. Geo Gambacorta and his son Marco are very kind and helpful. Check-in went very smoothly. + Proximity to Santa Chiara basilica, you can easily take the bus to go aroubd Umbria or to the train station + kitchen is great, you can cook your own meals, it has everything needed, including all kinds of dishes and cutlery + terrace!!!! "Overall it was a good place to stay. It’s a very simple place, which is great for Assisi. The biggest issue is the communication from the host. The host sent an email the day we were supposed to check in with crucial info to get in the property. The host didn’t tell us to look out for this email, and we didn’t have data, so we didn’t check our email when Wi-Fi was available. The host should have told us when we made the reservation to expect an email the day of check in."

"Was originally a monastery. Incredible staff. Beautiful views. Make sure to ask for room with A/C because not all have one. No elevator but staff assists with luggage. Good idea to upgrade to suite. Very historic rooms. Be sure you are ready for a somewhat challenging drive and narrow road up to hotel which can be challenging at times. We love this place and will return.
