Absolutely breathtaking!!! The rooms, the view the service and the location. WOW!! And Salvatore is an absolute gem. We were unsure of how to get there and so he told us to call him when we were nearing the hotel and he stayed with me on the phone and guided our every turn. He waited for us outside so we wouldn’t miss it. Talk about outstanding service. Every room is so charming and tastefully decorated and has the most beautiful views. And just a short and beautiful walk to get to the center....

About 20 minutes drive outside of Gubbio and up a mountain, the Castello provides a unique hotel stay. Our room was in a building inside the walls. It was quite large with a very roomy bathroom with both large tub and separate shower. Beams, stone walls and wooden shutters contributed to the castle atmosphere. We stayed at this beautiful air conditioned apartment 1 night. Very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable mattress. Great location, in walking distance to the city, shops and restaurants and close to the bus and train station. The host was very friendly and helpful with instructions to find the apartment. This hotel is actually a castle!! It was easy to check in, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable.

Our stay couldn’t have been better! The location was perfect for exploring the historic center, with easy access to all major sights. The room and bathroom were spotless. Daniele, the owner, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. When our car was unexpectedly towed, he didn’t hesitate to take us to the location, free of charge.
